What started as a party with a purpose has turned into one of Dallas-Fort Worth's most recognized military holiday organizations.
Recognized by GuideStar with Platinum status, Holidays & Heroes continues to honor and support the men and women stationed at Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base and throughout North Texas—providing Thanksgiving meals, heartfelt Christmas celebrations, and year-round community support for our heroes and their families.

Supported by a six-member board of directors, these volunteers honor the mission to show military families they are not alone, and that people in the community truly care about them. Not all of us have served in the military, but we found a way to serve those who serve in the military.

Holidays and Heroes focus is to show support to enlisted military service members who are active, reserve or guard during Christmas holidays and other military supported events during the year. Our mission is to show these the service members that they are not alone, and that there are people in the community that truly care about their well-being.
